Transguard Group is currently recruiting for A/C Technician for its Transportation division. The successful candidate will be responsible in carrying out duties as outlined.
In this role your responsibilities will include the following.
• Mechanical & Electrical repairs, troubleshoot and diagnosing on Air Conditioning repairs of Cars, Vans, and buses
• Diagnose faults and recommend effective solutions, doing it right the first time.
• Remove, install, and fix all kinds of dashboards, condensers, evaporators, and pipes
• Fabricate, modify AC piping for additional Evaporators
• Troubleshoot AC leak and pinpoint defective parts
• Proactively identify potential cause of the problem while attending jobs both in the workshop and in the field
• Using tools and adopting best practices as mentioned in service manuals to improve the productivity and efficiency
• Monitoring and carrying out repairs related to AC gas – checking and refilling
• Extending good service support to customers given the stringent requirement from customers for vehicle/bus uptime to avoid delays
• Serves as an emergency support in case of breakdowns
• Use Service checklist where applicable and available
Skills
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience.
• Excellent AC wiring Harness Repair & replacement skills
• Able to read, understand, and implement instructions (in English) in workshop manuals
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience is preferred
