Anodic Machine Operator

• Assist in operating, cleaning, and maintaining the machinery.
• Assist in reading and interpreting blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery.
• Assist in performing periodic checks on equipment and assist in solving problems as detected
• Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in properly working order
• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations
• Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process
• Evaluate the efficiency of each unit regularly, identifying improvements as needed
• Perform other duties as needed.

QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION:
• High School Diploma
• Proven experience as a machine operator/apprenticeship
• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (preferred)
• Understanding of production procedures (preferred)

• Read Blueprints, Schematics, and Manuals
• Comprehension on safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment

• Physically fit – there might be prolonged periods of working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and standing.
• Ability to take reasonable care for their own health and safety, as well as the others that may be affected by his/her acts or omissions at work.
• Ability to understand commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a manufacturing/mechanical field
• Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear)
c. Skills
• Troubleshooting & Critical Thinking – act quickly/adopt a systematic approach when a problem arises, determine causes, and solve issues at hand
• Attention to Details – able to concentrate on a task
• Communication Skills – verbal and written communication will determine the effectiveness and efficiency with which cross-functional duties are executed.
