Bid Manager – Sales Support (Arabic Speaker)

Job Description

Transguard Group is currently recruiting for a Bid Manager for our Sales Support division. The successful candidate will be part of an exciting team, responsible for leading and managing the bid process for government and non-government clients by developing winning proposals and maintaining excellent relationships with external clients. You will be fluent in Arabic (spoken, written and reading) and will be required to lead discussions within the government sector.

In this role, your responsibilities include the following;

•Responsible for end-to-end management of bids

•Ensuring bids are managed and delivered effectively and efficiently and adhere to Transguard policies (risk, pricing, and brand)

•Organizing and attending formal bid reviews, including bid/no bid decisions

•Reviewing and translating all Arabic tenders and produce bid content in Arabic

•Working with the Sales Support team on all government registrations and pre-qualification documentation

•Identifying various risks involved in tenders and frame a suitable bidding approach on a case to case basis

•Coordinating with various departments for review of the scope, detail schedule including mobilisation and de-mobilisation plans, and compilation of all the cost elements for the projects

•Managing all internal bid activities within the Transguard teams, from Commercial and Legal, to Procurement and Accommodation

•Participating in the team reviews and providing feedback to SME’s and other stakeholders relating to content received and proposal progress.

•Actively involved in post tender discussions, clarifications, presentations.

•Management of the bid library, ensuring that data is kept up to date, old data is archived, and information is stored, categorised and secured.

Skills

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience;

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

•Minimum 2-3 years of experience in bid management and tendering

•Fluent in Arabic – spoken, written and reading

•Basic knowledge of sales, proposal management, sales coordination and document control.
