Transguard Group is currently recruiting for a Cost Estimator to be part of its Transguard Living division. The successful candidate will be part of an exciting team, responsible for collecting and analyzing data in order to estimate the time, money, materials, and labour required to provide maintenance, cleaning and removal services. He/she will also be responsible for the coordination of the end to end invoicing process and provision of analytical and strategic support. The role will have a close link to both the Transguard Commercial Director and the Transguard Management Accountant.
As a Cost Estimator, your responsibilities include the following
- Working closely with the Operations Manager and the Control Room Manager on all quoted work
- Managing the end to end process for all quotations, collating time, materials and labour required for each reques
- Following up, editing and reviewing all submitted quotations to ensure the appropriate information is provided to the customers. Overseeing the end to end invoice process for the business unit, ensuring invoices are being submitted immediately to customers, following up and processing the admin internally
- Coordinating the supplier invoice process in conjunction with the procurement tea
- Working closely with management accounts on provision of all financial data
- Reviewing market rates for the services and provide justifications
- Liaising with the Transguard procurement team on supplier agreements to ensure all KPIs and SLAs are met.
Skills
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Maintenance background
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Pricing, Reimbursement, Finance, or Contract Operations
