Discount Analyst

We are currently recruiting for Credit Analyst to be based out of their office in Dubai.

Job Summary :

The Discount Credit Analyst role involves data handling and management to validate, calculate, process contractual rebates, and issue credits as well as manage the process status updates. It requires to work with Customer Program Managers (CPMs) and customers and a deep understanding of how to model contractual language into discount calculation/validation steps. Lastly, it involves definition, management, and execution of contractual compliance and alignment when calculating and sharing customer credit files. 

Responsibilities

• Process credit analysis, issuance & managing reporting:

• Process invoice & sales data in accordance with contracts for materials & repair support to GE customers
• Deliver analysis within a timeline as requested
• Update process steps within the workflow to ensure visibility to multiple parties within the Customer Team, Finance, and other key stakeholders
• Collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy & timeliness.

• Follow written SOPs, update existing SOPs, and write new SOPs for newly signed contracts.

• Ensure current SOPs are clear enough to deliver desired outcome – measuring for accuracy & timeliness
• Update SOPs to outline optimization within a process or correct errors
• Store updated SOPs in shared folder/box
• Experienced support will engage in writing new SOP’s and designing calculation template for newly signed customer agreements/contracts.

• Communicate and collaborate with key members within the credit process team to deliver accurate & timely credits:

• Coordinate with Customer Program Managers, JV Partner and Finance to prioritize credits based on delivery date to customer
• Communicate challenges/risks to timeline in advance of due date
• Recognize and report capacity constraints or process challenges.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering, Finance or Technical field from an accredited university or college complemented with experience in industrial area.
• Advanced MS Excel user with experience on data analysis, pivot, macros, vlookups, etc.
• At least 5 years’ work experience, ideally in an analytical role, or project/process management role, combined with business exposure.
• Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with great communication ability.
• Ability to deeply understand Contract Language related to Discounts
• Results oriented and deadline driven personality
• Fluent in English
