Scope:
Responsible for day-to-day vessel assistance on pontoons and marina basins. Accountable for marina assets, operational requirements, customer experience, and all related services.
Responsibilities:
Assist Seniors and master’s with all Marina operations
Carries out all daily cleaning and facilities tasks in a timely manner
Assist with Maintenance tasks and must complete monthly checklist within laid out deadlines
Ensure security of marinas & members assets are paramount
Ensure all fire safety equipment, 1st aid kits, emergency spill kits, muster points procedures are learnt and ensure you are ready to act in the event of emergency
Assist members vessel/s docking and undocking
Assist members with club car service
Assist with ICE supply
Assist members with safe vessel access and equipment shifting
Ensure all contractors who are onsite are approved
Be available on VHF or UHF.
Participate with trainings with team members and follow SOP’s
Attend morning briefings and meetings which are required
Maximize on financial saving and promote revenue generation through correct marina management on an operational level (do not waste company consumables, repair instead of replace wherever possible, promote incremental spend in house, save resources.

Skills:
Vessel license up to 12meter or previous experience around vessels and marinas
First Aid training certificate in date
Firefighting and Fire prevention certificate in date
Minimum 1years or more experience in marina operations, workshops, and guest-facing
Fluent in English written and spoken
Must be a strong swimmer
Prior marina/yachting/boating/ knowledge and skillset are required,
Must not have any medical conditions which may cause added risk while working near water (epilepsy, Narcolepsy, fainting, etc.),
Strong interpersonal skills and outgoing upbeat attitude
Must be able to work in hot high UV climates and environment
Can respond to emergencies in a calm controlled manner
Strong training/learning skills
Strong teammate skills and prior experience in large teams are required.
Beneficial but not essential: multilingual Arabic, Technical knowledge of marinas
