Job Description
The individual will be able to undertake the following duties.
- Dispense fuel safely and efficiently without risk of danger
- Exercise thorough understanding of safety procedures while handling Class 3 flammable liquids as well as demonstrate awareness of driving practices while transporting Class 3 flammable liquids
- The driver will be responsible for the transportation and delivery of Class 3 flammable liquids.
- Undertake all HSE training as directed by the fleet manager
Skills
- UAE Driving license (manual)
- Dubai Civil Defense-approved HAZMAT driver training course (this can be completed during onboarding)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in transportation of flammable liquids (preferable)
- Minimum of 2 years driving experience in UAE
- Clear driving license (maximum 2 black points)
- High school certificate
- Knowledge of chassis vehicles
- Advanced level of English (minimum EPT level 3) as per Transguard standard. Knowledge of Hindi, Urdu, Arabic or Tagalog would be an advantage.
- Experience using Android/iOS mobile phones and tablet computers
- Previous experience working in a courier service company (e.g. Souq, Aramex etc.) (preferable)
- Knowledge of fuel (preferable)
- Team player
- Non-smoker
