Job Description
1. Appear for Dubai Protective System training and pass the exam to obtain the security license to work in Dubai as a security guard.
2. Pass all secondary training to include fire prevention, health and safety, and first aid.
3. Assist and liaise effectively with the client’s security manager, law enforcement agencies, security personnel, and local partners or their representatives.
4. Physically able to lift a 34 Kg K9 to chest level.
5 Maintain the professional standards of security personnel by following the policies and procedures of company
6. Maintain training records for the client
7. Keep records of what was searched throughout the day. (Vehicles, packages, pallets, mail, random sweeps, etc)
8. Ability to care and maintain a working K9 and its kennel and kennel area
9. Ability to monitor and maintain an EDD’s odour detection capability
10 Understanding the principles of quality control.
Skills
1.K9 EDD Handler Police/Corrections Experience
2.K9 EDD Handler Military Experience/Police Experience
3.EDD K9 Certification from a recognized K9 School or Police/Military/Correction department
4.Basic MS Office
5.Ability to monitor and maintain an EDD’s odour detection capability
6.5. Ability to respond appropriately when an EDD indicates detection of explosive materials
