Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Job Requirements

Engineer is required to support and restore E&I and automation failures in operating Terminal. Providing E&I engineering/technical support for oil Terminals to troubleshoot and resolve problems impacting equipment availability / reliability, environmental compliance and ensures safe work execution. Also, initiating and managing E&I related projects in oil Terminals.

Professional Experience in the following areas is desirable.

Electrical

• In depth knowledge of SLD, circuit, OEM suppliers, 11 KV HV, LV, VFD.
• Standard compliance, IEEE, IEC, NFPA
• ATEX, API.
• Worked in Electrical system- Trouble Shooting, maintenance,  & Testing & Commissioning.
• Energy isolation requirements.

Instrumentation

• Hazardous area classification awareness (certification added advantage)
• In-depth knowledge on MOV ( Rotork Actuators), Fire alarm system, HVAC, CP system, Instruments ( PT, TT, LT, Radar gauge, FT), CCTV, Access control, Bentley Nevada.

Terminal Automation System (TAS)

• Control system trouble shooting and modification of OEM (CSI, Siemens, Allen Bradly, ABB ) systems.
• Other system such as – ATG ( Emerson Rosemont), LDS ( Krohne ) Energy management system,
• TTLR Automation

E&I Projects ( Internal, GEP , External , Minor & major, HTL ) in brown field.

• Project evaluation & feasibility study.
• Project related Document preparation
• Project site supervision in line with PTW requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate KOM, MOM, Weekly update, Monthly update.
• Scheduling, planning, Shutdown requirements with OPS clearance.
• Prepare, review and approval MSRA in coordination with BU.
• Fully conversant with best industry practice on O&G PTW System
• Prepare project close out plan and documents.

 EHS

• Awareness and good knowledge of best industry practices related to HSE.
• Intelex close out all CAPA points related to E&I with technical review and recommendation.

Sustainability

• Good awareness and knowledge of Energy Resource Conservation requirement, industry practices, standards, code as applicable
• Project evaluation & feasibility study on Energy related project
• Knowledge of ISO 50001 to meet the EnRM Business Plans for all oil and gas sites.

IT/OT system - Cyber security

• Good knowledge on IT/ OT system pertaining to Terminals/O&G and other process industries.
• Liaise with IT (network team & cyber security) for all OT system related hardware and software implementation and modification.

SAP

• Knowledge on SAP pertaining to Projects would be added advantage

Mobility to other oil and gas Terminals

• Weekly visit to oil and gas terminals.

Qualification – Engineering Degree / Equivalent in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering.

Experience    - 10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in Terminals / O&G / Chemical / Refinery / Process industry in a supervisory cadre.
