We are currently recruiting for an Estimation Engineer to join our Pre-Sales team at Transguard Group in our HQ, located in Dubai Airport Free Zone.
Scope
The Pre-Sales Engineer role at Transguard System Integration is to work closely with Sales team to deliver competitive proposals.
The role is responsible for our bids to be designed to client specifications with full compliance, at a competitive rate.
The role is expected to be highly skilled and experienced in designing ELV, AV and IT systems and to be well-versed with all the regulatory requirements and standards such as but not limited to SIRA and MCC.
The role is responsible for studying RFPs, raising RFls, designing a fully compliant solution, making proposals to fit client's commercial and technical requirements, and taking part in technical presentations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that bids are turned around on time and in a timely manner
- Ensure both Transguard and Transguard's clients quality standards and specifications are being met
- Ensure RFPs are properly evaluated, RFls raised, technical queries clarified well before the submission of proposals
- Ensure best products are proposed which will fully comply the specification
- Ensure Transguard's bids are fully compliant and are as competitive as possible
- Ensure Transguard's minimum gross profit margins are maintained
- Ensure proper documentation is done and able to demonstrate solutions through block diagrams, schematics, Interface Control Documents and proper review of shop drawings is done
- Perform detailed site surveys, coordinate with subcontractors, participate in pre and post bid meetings and support sales team
- Ensure finalized proposal, cost sheet and design information are handed over to the projects team and sales team
- Ensure necessary technical trainings are attended and certifications are taken as scheduled and planned

- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
- Degree in Engineering
- Background in ELV industry
