External Communications Manager

Transguard Group is the UAE’s most trusted business support and outsourcing provider and has a large, dynamic and culturally diverse workforce with 50,000 employees!  We are currently recruiting for External Communications Manager for our trusted client.  The candidate is to be based out of UAE.

Responsibilities: 

• The External Communications Manager is responsible for managing and implementing an external communications plan in Africa and Middle East countries. He/She will work closely with the AfME External Communications director and relevant internal stakeholders in the countries to ensure timely implementation of the plan in alignment with the global narrative and business priorities in the countries. He/She will:
• Ensure alignment with all internal stakeholders.
• Partner with relevant internal teams in the countries to ensure alignment with global messaging and priorities while executing the agreed on external communications activities.
• Work closely with in-country Public Relations (PR) and social media agencies and any outsourced communications support.
• Use timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analyzing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits.
• Work closely with content creation supplier and the publishing agencies to push and boost posts in alignment with the strategy.

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related field required.
• Knowledge of healthcare environment, or other corporate and public affairs experience is a must.
• 3 years of experience and demonstrated skills in managing and delivering communications plans in a large, complex organization.
• Good experience in conducting external communications campaigns. 
• Solid external communications experience.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Arabic.
