Facilities Engineer

The IFS team are currently seeking to hire a Facilities Engineer to ensure that the standard of service, operational delivery and documentation meet required quality levels.

The ideal candidate will have experience in;

• Developing the business growth of the account; Implicitly understand the commercial aspects of the contract and manage the service delivery within the boundaries of the contract;
• Facilities management Hard & Soft of residential & commercial buildings
• Investigating technical issues and resolving with agreed SLA
• Preparing a quarterly report with monthly operational data that supports financial performance
• Exploring 'management solutions' to address any issues;
• Ensuring invoices are prepared, delivered and paid, Monitor billable vs non billable staff;
• Reporting any variations to the contract to the Divisional Manager and ensure that these are reviewed and agreed with the client;
• Developing a good working relationship with the client and hold regular client meetings to ensure the smooth running of the contract
• Ensuring the work schedules developed for the staff match the client requirements;
• Managing the team structure and develop it as required to ensure the operations run smoothly and within budget;
• Holding staff meetings, monthly or as required;
• Conducting site visits to view staff performance and help to motivate staff;
• Planning mobilization of staff according to agreed timescales with the client;

Hard and soft services experience 

Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree
