Job Description

We are currently recruiting for Finance Specialist to be based out of their office in Abu Dhabi.

Job Purpose:

As a Finance Specialist, Responsible for tracking Well Bore Intervention revenue and cost. Responsible for billing and tracking.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Conducting related General Ledger (GL) closing activities with posting of accruals and liabilities. 
  • Monitoring and reviewing the deposit, prepayment, parked invoices, ARIBA Non - PO Accruals. 
  • Preparing JV for prepayment, ARIBA Non - PO Accruals. 
  • Preparing and review the monthly balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the BHI team and Accenture. 
  • Governance of Quality Audit Reconciliation prepared by the BHI Team and Accenture. 
  • Analysing on regular basis on posting of general entry and reclassification, advising for improvements and corrective actions. 
  • Supporting Balance Sheet Flux commentaries on Quarterly basis. 
  • Conducting related General Ledger (GL) closing activities in time and accordance to the set guidelines. 
  • Contributes to project as a team member. 
  • Working closely with business, FP&A to ensure the tasks completed as per stipulated time line. 
  • Working independently on daily tasks with minimal supervision. 
  • Works closely with External and Internal Auditors to assist in completion of all audits. 
  • Any other duties as required. 

 

Skills

  • Have Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 
  • Have 3 – 4 years experience in General Accounting / working experience in the related filed is required for this position. 
  • Have good attention to detail with good analytical skills. 
  • Have experience in Shared Service is and added advantage. 
  • Have a good working knowledge and understanding of ERP systems - SAP is an added advantage.
