FM & Security Operations Manager

Job Description

Transguard Group are currently recruiting for a FM & Security Operations Manager for the New Zealand EXPO 2020 site in Dubai. 

Responsibilities would include:

  • Coordination and implementation of the contract start-up phase 
  • Project logistic planning
  • Planning and management of all staff at site
  • Understanding clients’ scope of work
  • Ordering and maintaining of project equipment
  • Liaising with the Pavilion Management daily and undertaking work as directed Regular communication will all stakeholders including VIP Protocol & Expo security management
  • Conduct all staff inductions as well as plan on the job required training
  • Mentor the team and work with the wider pavilion team both at site and at managerial level at Transguard and Expo
  • Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately Develop/maintain operational procedures so that valid, site-specific operations and Post Orders are always available for emergency response as required
  • Manage performance of cleaning and security personnel with emphasis on productivity, efficiency and service delivery
  • Manage, oversee, schedule and coordinate specialist cleaning services if required by the client
  • Continuous interaction with the EKFC Management Team, being the single point of contact between the ground team and client representatives.
  • Ensure that all Expo Worker Welfare guidelines are followed 100% throughout the event

Skills

Education Qualification:  

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree, Engineering or equivalent.

  • 5 -7years of relevant experience in related field  
  • Experience in management of UAE projects. Exhibition ‘content’ delivery/installation experience 
  • Experience working with related equipment and other innovative elements 
  • Pro-active, quality focused and not afraid to make decisions 
  • Experience of working in a complex and fast paced environment 
  • Client facing, strong in managing relationships and stakeholders 
  • Flexibility in changing requirements 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work closely with peers and external customers 
  • Strong oral and written communication skill 
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multitask, problem solve, think quickly and adapt to ever changing environments 
  • Well versed with various specialized systems
