Manager - Advertising

We are currently recruiting for a Manager Advertising for our trusted client to be based out of their office in Dubai.

Job Purpose:

The job purpose is to support the Advertising Concession’s team in executing the advertising strategy, focusing on achieving forecasted revenues, collaborating with key media and advertising concessionaires, and managing the primary concessionaire. The incumbent actively contributes to aligning organidations advertising strategy with global industry best practices and recommends initiatives to generate additional revenue within the advertising category, contributing to organisations ongoing commercial success.

Job Responsibilities:

• In-depth knowledge of the key drivers of the media and advertising business, specifically within an international airport environment, and a comprehensive understanding of airport operations.
• Effective interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate efficiently with both line management and external parties.
• Understanding of the complexities and opportunities within the travel retail business.
• Proficient project management skills.
• Strong sense of business acumen and financial astuteness, facilitating the understanding and implementation of financial concepts and applications.
• Awareness of global advertising trends and developments, especially in the context of the airport business and travel retail.
• Capable of understanding and managing contracts.
• Demonstrated flexibility in adapting to the ever-evolving nature of the category.
• Develop and implement comprehensive advertising strategies aligned with company's business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with advertising concessionaires to surpass revenue targets while maintaining world-class customer service and adhering to global standards.
• Assist and support the Advertising Concession’s team in planning for airport development projects impacting media space.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, advertisers, and key stakeholders.
• Effectively communicate advertising proposals, strategies, and campaign results.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with advertising concessionaires, ensuring compliance with standards

• 5-7 years of experience
• Specialisation: Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
• Industry Experience: Advertising Agencies,  Retail, Media or related industries.
