Manager- Blue Collar Recruitment

Transguard Group is now looking for a Manager- Blue Collar Recruitment to join our manpower recruitment team. The job holder will be managing the recruitment and mobilisation of staff from inside the UAE, with a focus on projects to improve the recruitment process and overall candidate experience.

In this role your responsibilities include the following:

• Managing a large team of recruiters focusing on blue collar recruitment of staff from inside and outside the UAE
• Managing monthly management meetings with business units
• Providing reports; individual Vacancy Requisition Forms (VRFs), business units updates, scorecards etc.
• Accountable for the entire visa process management including but not limited to overstay cases, visa delays and rejections
• Providing salary benchmarks for bid purposes and advising on mobilisation timelines
• Improving the recruitment process and candidate experience through systems and process.
• Ensuring timely closure of VRFs
• Interviewing candidates and making recommendations on hiring
• Working on projects to improve the recruitment process and overall HR function
• Advising the business units on operational issues relating to the recruitment process
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of all team members ensuring goals are communicated and understood
• Managing and reducing mobilisation time
• Reviewing and redistributing recruitment communication
• Managing assessment centres, advertising, and recruitment agency communication
• Dealing with all escalated issues in conjunction with team members

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Bilingual or multilingual candidates preferred
• Previous team management experience
• Excellent understanding of blue collar and outsourcing recruitment function
• Good reporting and strategic planning skills
