Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager – FM Services. This role will be based in DAFZA, Dubai.

Scope-

To develop new business, increase sales and revenue in the Facilities Management Dept. The desired candidates will have a strong FM background and have an established network of clients and contacts. They will understand the tendering processes of all the major clients in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and be able to lead and drive high value tenders. They will be expected to meet with Senior decision makers and build strong relationships with clients, to help gather intelligence in the market and strengthen our chances of winning new business.

Job Responsibility-

  • Maintain extensive knowledge of the FM Industry and of the current market conditions.
  • Understand key areas of Transguard’s business, that need to be included in sales pitches with key differentiators.
  • Understand key competitors and actively seek information and intelligence on their solutions and services.
  • Develop key client target lists with the aim of securing revenue and sales.
  • Review client documentation such as RFP’s, scope of work, tender documents and provide input to the management and bid team.
  • Present any new opportunities to the internal team summarizing the key requirements of the project and providing any intel on the opportunity.
  • Work with pricing team to ensure all information is captured to price and seek relevant approvals before any quote or bid submission.
  • Reviewing the proposals before submission. Ensuring that all the requirements of the technical and commercials are met.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to the Head of PMO Sales and monthly sales forecasts to the Business Units within the required recruitment notice periods
  • Ensure a healthy pipeline is maintained throughout the financial year with key targets being updated.
  • Achieve / exceed aggressive sales targets.
  • Approach and attract new clients by targeting key decision makers and arranging meetings to pitch TG services. Follow up with clients and ensure that latest information is updated in the system.
  • Work with internal business units and team members to create solutions to clients’ needs.
  • Identify and research opportunities that arise in new/ existing markets.
  • Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to potential new clients.
  • Develop good positive partnerships with current and potential clients and act as the primary Point of Contact for all sales related queries.
  • Strict adherence to TG Internal Sales Processes.
  • Oversee the entire contract negotiations between client, Legal and Commercial, providing input to support internal decisions.
  • Strictly adhere to the order validation process.
  • Gather market intelligence for each opportunity being worked upon. Ensure that there key details of the project are collected and shared with the team. Cross sell other services that TG can provide to clients.

Skills

  • Excellent understanding of the FM services , process and systems.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and fluent in English.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to negotiate terms and conditions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage your own time and follow all TG processes.
  • Self-motivated, resilient and target driven
  • The ability to develop strong internal relationships with internal teams and colleagues.
  • Experience with preparing a financial summary for pricing.
  • Knowledge of the FM recruitment industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software such as sales force.
  • Understanding and knowledge of UAE laws and regulations
