Job Description
You will be responsible for executing the organizational training strategy, identifying improvements, driving suitable training initiatives, overseeing their implementation and assessing the outcomes to develop our people, safely meet the needs of the business and build loyalty to the firm.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the team, training facilities and training requirements across multi-BUs
- Identify and assess future and current training needs of the business through methods including, but not limited to: learning needs analysis; job description analysis; skills matrices; career paths; 9 boxes; client feedback; contractual KPIs; and internal stakeholder interaction.
- Review and amend existing training produced and/or delivered by third parties to determine appropriateness, cost effectiveness and relevance periodically.
- Maintain and encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through ongoing evaluation of course design and delivery, conducting regular audits, observations and review. Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically provide reports
- Build solid, cross-functional relationships with stakeholders.
- Drive the need for enhancing employees in their current roles, vertical progress and the overall needs of the company. Identify and enhance employees’ skills, competencies, performance, productivity and quality of work, whilst complying with SLAs, driving KPIs and meeting internal and external client expectations.
- Deliver quality assurance of learning programmes to ensure standards and processes uphold Transguard Group’s vision, mission & values and business goals. Keep abreast of company and government changes and close gaps in training material or content that should be filled to ensure safety, legal compliance and productivity in employees. - Keep up to date overall job specific training and development plans that address needs and expectations.
- Ensure the training team are deploying a wide variety of training methods to enhance course effectiveness, retention of information and keep students engaged. Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices and deliver training sessions and workshops as required
- Monitor and evaluate KPIs, success and ROI through regular reporting methods
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- With at least 3-5 years similar position
- Equivalent Undergraduate certificate (equivalent to HND) (2-year course)
Good working knowledge of a minimum of one of the following various industries
Aviation, Security, Cash Services, Facilities Management, Construction Services, MEP, Hospitality, Customer Service
Background in one of the following industries:
Training, Teaching, Learning and Development, Education or Human Resources
