Job Description

Transguard Group was established in 2001 and has diversified significantly, we lead in the fields of Cash Services, Security Services, Manpower Services, Facilities Management & Aviation. We are currently recruiting for a Manager Recruitment to join our team at Transguard Group.

Purpose-

To manage the recruitment and mobilization of staff from inside the UAE, with a focus on projects to improve the recruitment process and overall candidate experience.

Responsibility-

  • Management of a team.
  • Monthly Management meetings with Business Units.
  • Provide reports; individual VRFs, business units updates, MPR figures, weekly ops, scorecards etc.
  • Advise on and resolve visa issues – overstay cases, banned nationalities, rejections etc.
  • Provide information for bids such as salary information and mobilization timelines.
  • Improve the recruitment process and candidate experience (systems, advertising etc).
  • Ensure timely closure of VRFs to reduce cycle time.
  • Interview candidates and make recommendations on hiring.
  • Work on projects to improve the recruitment process and overall HR function – Open Day, new application portal, Transguard Career Framework etc.
  • Advise the business units on operational issues relating to the recruitment process.
  • Oversee the day to day operations of all team members ensuring goals are communicated and understood.
  • Manage and reduce mobilization time.
  • Review and redistribute Recruitment communication.
    Approve offer letters.
  • Ensure the team have the skills and support to do their roles effectively.
  • Deal with all escalated issues in conjunction with team members.
  • Conduct 1:1s with team members and provide learning and development opportunities for team members to match both their career aspirations and the requirements of the business.
    Conduct performance management process where applicable.
  • Work with Procurement to manage supplier contracts (advertising, medical services etc).
  • Review and evaluate the success measures of the Recruitment function and provide feedback and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

 

Skills

  • Experience in a business with both blue- and white-collar employees
  • HR qualification
  • Evidence of strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills
  • In-depth understanding of recruitment processes; advertising methods, interviewing skills and employment law
  • Ideally experienced in managing and delivering projects
