Manager- Corporate Social Responsibility

We are currently recruiting for a Manager - Social Responsibility to be based out of their Dubai office.

Job Profile-

As Transguard’s Manager – CSR, you will work closely with both the Director – Marketing & CSR and a site-based team of Recreation Coordinators to develop and implement an extensive portfolio of events centred around employee welfare, entertainment, sustainability and the environment. You will play a critical role in connecting HQ with site, as well as working with government entities and NGOs to help grow and maintain Transguard’s reputation as an industry leader in terms of staff welfare and environmental stewardship.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop monthly event calendars for site and HQ employees with special attention to the nationalities, religions and other key events in our employees’ lives
• Ensure value-added spend of Transguard’s welfare fund
• Consistent dedication to improving the welfare of our site-based employees
• Continuous development of Transguard’s social and environmental programme
• Coordinate with the Marketing and Communications team for internal and external publicity opportunities
• Assist with administrative processes for the CSR team including procurement, the annual budget, monthly MPR and welfare presentations and the ongoing monitoring of expenses
• Represent Transguard while working with government entities and non-profit partners to identify opportunities for collaboration and support
• Assist with the continuous improvement of the CSR strategy
• Play a pivotal role in ensuring that Transguard continues to meet and exceed its social and legal obligations in terms of welfare
• Take responsibility for monitoring feedback from the accommodations in an effort to continually improve our accommodations, amenities and the overall standard of living for our site-based colleagues
• Work closely with the Director-Marketing & CSR on any applications for CSR certifications, awards and labels, as well as on Transguard’s annual sustainability report
• Manage and support the site-based recreation team through 121 meetings and attendance of events

• Fluency in English (spoken and written); fluency in Hindi a plus
• BA/BS degree required
• 2-5 years in the UAE
• Passionate about welfare and sustainability issues
• Strong negotiation and collaboration skills
• Project and time management skills
• Integrity, enthusiasm and a proactive character
