We are currently recruiting for a Manager-Sustainability (Partnership initiatives) for our trusted client in Aviation industry to be based out of their headquarters in Dubai.
Scope:
The purpose of this role is to manage the delivery of the sustainability-partnership projects, strategies and programmes and managing the relationship with partners and stakeholders on the topic of sustainability. The role is to be the focal point and area of expertise for stakeholder engagement and resolution of day-to-day actions as part of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Propose and set up project delivery governance
- Lead the stakeholder engagement to define & document the core requirements of the project.
- Coordinate the Pre-Concept Design activities with the Design, Research &/or SME departments
- Agree project scope, purpose, estimated costs/ timelines with Business Owner, Programme Lead & Investment Planning
- Coordinate and support Brief / Business Case development with the Business Owner, SMEs and Investment Planning
- Coordinate and drive forward the appropriate project approvals and documentation
- Responsible for the execution of projects in alignment with the Project Management Governance
- Responsible for the development & sign-off of the Project Management Plan (PMP) with the Business Owner & Programme Lead
- Manage strategy setting and project delivery at all stages, inclusive of any changes/ variations.
- Manage the handover of the project to the operational teams.
- Responsible for activities post go-live to ensure compliance with the company’s governance.
- Conduct project lessons learned.
- Demonstrate strong client focus at the project level ensuring good working relationships
- Coordinate SME, internal/ external resources, etc. to ensure optimal execution of the projects
- Motivate project team members to achieve project objectives
Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Operational Readiness or related fields
- 7-10 Years experience in Sustainability, Carbon Reduction
- Strategic Planning
- Stakeholder management
- Project Scheduling, Risk & Issues Management, Budget Management, Procurement Strategy & Contract Administration, etc.
- Operational Readiness Activation & Transition experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
