Operations Manager-Logistics & Warehouse

Transguard is currently seeking an Operations Manager-Logistics & Warehouse. As an Operations Manager-Logistics & Warehouse, you will be responsible for ensuring all site based operational and administration components of your client’s portfolio is delivered on time, within the scope of the contract, and in-line with Transguard standard operating procedures (SOP). You will also be in charge of planning, coordinating and managing manpower services, drive operational efficiencies, improve service delivery and on-site productivity.

In this role, your responsibilities include the following;

• Responsible for overall management of the services provided

• Day-to-day management of operations in client portfolio ensuring all aspects are delivered in the scope of the commercial client contract and in-line with Transguars SOP and that revenue and costs are managed under the scope of the contract

•Work with the site-based Operations Team to ensure that any issues or conflicts are resolved professionally

•Attend weekly meetings with client’s Operations Managers and provide support to both the client and Transguard staff

•Proactively lead and manage the planning and preparation of manpower deployments, mobilisation, demobilisation, accommodation, transport, welfare and relations, training, recruitment, on-boarding, and off-boarding

•Deliver and maintain the operational process and procedure in-line with Transguard strategy and goals

•Responsible for on-site management including, but not limit to, staff deployment, behaviour, accident/ incident investigation, roster and adhoc planning, actively sharing the deployment information and feedback to the client as and when required

•Work with the different stakeholders within the group to ensure smooth running of the daily operational delivery

•Ensure that all employees welfare working for this contract are being taken care, resolve any internal complaints raised by the employee, not limited to food, accommodation, payroll and uniform issues

•Ensure the service is delivered in the most efficient and cost-effective way of working, monitoring the process and procedure, actively carrying out correction and change in process

•Ensure all site-based employee deployed at site have got the correct access and operating cards, periodically auditing card details to ensure accuracy

•Monitor of attendance and ensuring 100% deployment every shift

•Handle incidents involving Transguard employees and producing plans to mitigate future incidences, driving down accident rates

•Recruit and deploy qualified personnel to meet the client requirements

•Ensure all training is up to date and recorded

•Ensure all DFs are raised on time and correct headcount is allocated to each contractual condition

•Prepare monthly report on daily/weekly briefings with the site team •Prepare monthly client report

•Share monthly roster from the client with all staff details including the following: actual roster per area, staff being removed, staff being suspended, new joiners' training and medical conditions.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience; ·Bachelors Degree; master’s degree is desirable

·5-10 years of industry experience.

·Expert knowledge retail and warehouse operations

·Able to use Warehouse management systems

·System integration and technology

·Understanding of demand planning ·Understanding of UAE Labour law
