Pavilion Account Manager- Expo

Job Description

Transguard Workforce Solutions is now recruiting for a Pavilion Account Manager. The job holder will be responsible for leading and managing all Expo related opportunities across the entire pavilion portfolio. The scope covers all stages of the sales cycle, bids & pricing, contract negotiation and mobilisation. The Pavilion Manager will support the Director – Mobilisation in the engagement, information gathering, planning, and securing business across the Expo site. The job holder should have experience in working within a highly dynamic and complex environment and managing a range of facility services including facilities management, security and hospitality personnel.

This will be a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months.

In this role your responsibilities include the following:

  • Gaining an in-depth understanding of the Expo event, its participants, and the potential opportunity to Transguard
  • Work with clients to understand their requirements and offer advice on the different solutions and services Transguard can offer
  • Attend site visits, client meetings and pitch Transguard services Working closely with Sales Support, FM, Security Services, Hospitality, Workforce Solutions, and other BU’s 
  • Liaising with Commercial and Legal teams to ensure that any bundled service offering is created and submitted promptly to the client
  • Coordinating between internal stakeholders to obtain information on services, resources and equipment and coordinate with Procurement for supplier quotes where necessary
  • Understanding Transguard contract terms and drive the negotiations until completion
  • Understanding the commercial aspects of all client contracts and manage the service delivery in line with agreed KPIs and SLAs
  • Acting as a focal point of contact in terms of client coordination and clarifications during Expo related tendering process
  • Producing progress reports on the engagement with the pavilions and the secured contracts
  • Managing the Expo pipeline in Salesforce and providing regular updates on secured work and associated head count forecast Managing current mobilisation plans and create new plans for secured work, create operating plans, manuals, SOPs and procedures for the individual pavilions
  • Managing resourcing and staffing plans and working closely with the relevant internal teams to ensure recruitment timelines are achieved
  • Creating and maintaining a cost budget for all secured deals and pipeline
  • Achieving agreed sales targets to generate revenue
  • Be adaptable to client’s demands and project timelines
  • During event phase, manage the performance and delivery against contractual obligations
  • Acting as the focal point for the transfer of requests and information between the Expo site and the Ops teams at Transguard head office, across various service lines
  • Developing and enhancing performance objectives on the expo contracts
  • Identifying opportunities for growth within the contracts

 

Skills

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Knowledge of events, facility management, guest services, security, and sales
  • Previous project management experience
  • FM technical background will be an advantage
  • Understanding of hard & soft services
  • Knowledge of guest experience / management
  • Excellent social/ networking skills
  • Expert in MS Office suite
