Pavilion Manager (Facilities Management & Security)- EXPO

Transguard Workforce Solutions is now recruiting for a Pavilion Manager for one of the country pavilions in EXPO 2020. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the cleaning team, ensuring adherence to the cleaning schedule and demonstrating proactive approach for fulfilling the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks in line with the KPIs & SLAs. The jobholder will also be accountable for the day-to-day operation of the landscaping, facility management and security team, ensuring all the KPIs and SLAs are met.

In this role, your main responsibilities include the following:

• Responsible for the overall management of the pavilion's other functional areas including catering, hospitality, and guest experience.
• Act as the focal point for the client and for any escalations, ensuring that any issues or conflicts are resolved satisfactorily in order to maintain the high service levels expected by the pavilion.
• Implementing security policies, regulations, rules, and norms and making sure that the environment in the pavilion is safe for employers and guests.
• Ensuring adherence to the rosters, cleaning schedules, nd security SOP’s while demonstrating a proactive approach for fulfilling the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks in line with the KPIs & SLAs.
• Assisting the Pavilion Management Team in all aspects of project implementation as required
• Ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to without any exceptions
• Developing and maintaining a high service standard and developing control measures to ensure that the standards are always met
• Managing performance of cleaning and security personnel with emphasis on productivity, efficiency, and service delivery
• Responsible for all rosters ensuring all positions are covered at all times, this is to include annual leave, sickness, and scheduled day off.
• Managing the site supervisors for completion of scheduled tasks
• Regularly checking the cleaning equipment and materials
• Ensuring all staffed meet grooming standards before and during each shift.
• Managing, overseeing, scheduling, and coordinating specialist cleaning services if required by the client
• Ensuring that the team responds appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience within the industry
• Proficiency in German or Arabic is an advantage
• Experience in management of UAE projects.
• Exhibition ‘content’ delivery/installation experience
• Experience working with related equipment and other innovative elements
• Pro-active, quality focused and not afraid to make decisions
• Experience of working in a complex and fast paced environment
• Client facing, strong in managing relationships and stakeholders
• Flexibility in changing requirements
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work closely with peers and external customers
• Strong oral and written communication skill
• Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to multitask, problem solve, think quickly and adapt to ever changing environments.
