Job description:To be in charge in packaging of fulfilled orders fulfilling orders by arranging inventory and preparing them for shipment.
In this role your responsibilities include:
Keeps products separated, organized, and in good condition.
• Weighing packages and labeling them appropriately
• Inspecting packages to ensure they are not damaged
• Assembling daily orders by shipping location or any other shipping categories
• Keeping records of packages including delivery notes, invoices, etc.
• Pulls and stacks product based on daily orders.
• Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
• Follows warehouse safety practices.
• Performs other related duties as required.
a. Knowledge
• Knowledge of proper product packaging in compliance with federal transport regulation
• In-depth knowledge of use of proper packaging materials and shipping procedures
• Understanding of warehouse safety guidelines & standards
b. Abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment for long hours
• Ability to operate manual electric pallet jacks / hand forklift safely and efficiently
