Porter

Transguard Group is currently recruiting for Terminal Porter for its Aviation division. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering seamless airport experience for Premium guests as well as other guests by providing Porter Service.

In this role your responsibilities will include the following 

• Assisting Premium guests by providing Porter Service from curbside until check in counters
• Assisting Premium guests with baggage from Arrival Lounge until Limousine
• Baggage Handling at Arrival Baggage Hall and Baggage Store
• Baggage Handling at Staff Travel Center on a timely basis
• Dispatch of Checked-In Baggage from T1 Landside – Premium Counters, Oversize Counters and Extension Counters
• Monitoring weight and size of hand baggage when deployed at Hand Baggage Check Points
• Replenishing baby strollers at frequent intervals & performing safety checks before deploying the strollers into operation
• Arranging and replenishing airline stationery at the check in counters and remove it after operation is completed
• Arranging tensile barriers at check in counters after peak operational hours
• Assisting VIP/MAAS guests with their Checked Baggage and Hand Baggage
• Guest Assistance by providing Juice, Water & blankets at Airside & Landside, during disruption. Replenish the stock of Juice, Water & blankets at Transfer Desks
• ADHOC tasks at the Hub including moving of equipment, stationery, and furniture

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience. 

• Minimum 1-year customer service is an advantage
• Successful completion of secondary education
• Strong written & verbal English language
• Minimum height of 160cms with proportionate weight
• Must be medically fit with no pre-existing illness & able to lift 30 kilograms and able to stand for not more than 4 hours
