Product Sample Operations Associate - Pharmaceuticals

Transguard Workforce Solutions is now looking to recruit a Product Sample Operations Associate for a leading client in the Pharmaceutical industry.

In this role, your responsibilities include the following:

• Accountable for end-to-end operational processes of all sample programmes (i.e. physical and direct to physician sampling and sample accountability)
• Ensuring sufficient controls are in place to support all HCP regulatory requirements
• Managing sample inventory requirements and coordinate with all stakeholders to accurately forecast sample and paper- based resource demand to manage inventory
• Managing coordination of vendors and the company's logistics centre to ensure end-to-end processing of sample orders and ensure they meet organisation requirements for efficient, effective, and compliant sampling
• Accountable for financial management of vendor budgets, purchase orders, invoicing, and accruals
• Providing support to sales force colleagues, operations managers, etc.
• Providing reports and analysis to key stakeholders as needed
• Partnering with business stakeholders (BUs, brand teams, business partners, HCP/Patient Ops) to identify, develop and implement strategic opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of sampling programmes
• Identifying and resolving day-to-day operational issues as they relate to sampling programmes
• Supporting product and PI changes and manage inventory to ensure all sample shipments are processed compliantly
• Partnering with Compliance colleagues to ensure audit readiness
• Supporting the execution of strategic initiatives related to sampling.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

• BA or BS required
• 5 years of commercial operations experience or other similar environments
• Pharmaceutical industry experience and familiarity
• Familiarity with sample compliance regulations
• Strong analytical capabilities and prior project management skills, including strategy execution and implementation of projects
• Experience managing ordering and fulfillment activities preferred, particularly related to sampling
• Strong vendor management skills, including the ability to ensure the vendors meet all SLAs and contractual agreements
• Proven track record of executing operations and solving operational problems
• Proven track record of delivering projects successfully, on time and on budget
• Ability to effectively use corporate applications/tools
• Experience with developing/maintaining electronic systems/applications
• Ability to manage against tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and keen attention to detail
• Experience working on cross-functional teams to deliver solutions
