Security guard - PSCOD

Transguard Group is currently recruiting for a Security Guard - PSCOD for its security manned guarding division. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing security duties to include man guarding or control room operations to all client/customer sites or locations. This will include commercial, residential and retail sites. And to positively support & adhere to all of the aims, plans, policies, working practices and procedures of the Company as well as PSCOD regulations/procedures.

In this role your responsibilities will include the following.

• Security and safety patrols, ensuring only authorized person allowed in designated areas. Complying with the job descriptions and site orders.
• Reporting all safety/security related observations to security supervisors/Senior Supervisors.
• Reporting all suspicious activities/information to TG Operations Room.
• Maintenance of all onsite logs in proper and well manner, recording of information etc. including adequate maintenance of NSI notebook.
• Protect all physical assets and prevent any damage to the asset and property.
• Be alert at all times to handle any unexpected incidents and taking necessary action expected of a security guard during emergency.
• Alert the management and prevent any illegal activities.
• Report all incidents and keep log books & assist in investigation as and when required.
• Access & Traffic Control / Searching Techniques – vehicle and personnel where required.
• Adhere to Fire Prevention and Emergency Procedures.
• General observation of the premises and detection of security related hazard/s
• Assist in any other duties as assign by the Management except non security tasks.
• Follow the site SOP and specific post description whilst at work.

• Must have completed High School or equivalent diploma
• Proficient in English speaking, reading, writing & listening
• Minimum 2 years security experience or Ex- Servicemen
• 1 Year experience working with PSCOD for special category courses i.e. Bank, Hotel, Aviation, Hospital
• Strong Customer Service & Communication Skill
