Security Guard - SIRA

Transguard Group is currently recruiting for a Security Guard – SIRA for its security manned guarding division. The successful candidate will be responsible to support and adhere to all of procedures, policies, plans and working practices of Transguard Security in order to maintain a safe and secure environment for all residents, staff, visitors, contractors and members of the public.

In this role your responsibilities will include the following:

• Report any potential incidents that could affect the safety and or security operations of any person or property
• Always maintain the highest possible levels of customer service
• Ensure all staff, contractors and visitors are authorized to enter the premises by means of valid passes (where applicable)
• Responsible for all building keys and ensure keys are signed out for and returned on all occasions (where applicable)
• Confirm that each guard will report for duty in the appropriate dress and commence duties at the shift handover
• Guarantee smoking whilst on an assigned post is not taking place and report if any security guard is caught smoking while conducting his/her duties or outside of the designated areas
• Affirm that company mobile telephones are to be used only for company business while on static duties and personal calls should be confined to break periods
