Security Manager

Transguard Group is currently recruiting for a Security Manager for its security manned guarding division. The successful candidate will be part of an exciting team, responsible for carrying out duties as outlined.

In this role, your responsibilities include the following:

• Projecting the image of the property to the authorities, whilst liaising between various governments and the management of the two properties on security issues.
• Candidate must be able to deal and sort out onsite security related issues with CID/ Police and other local authorities
• Ensuring appropriate risk management aimed at avoiding or reducing losses by implementing a viable contingency plan
• Training the Security Team, good coaching and leadership ability and flexibility to support site operations.
• Ensuring that all security and safety procedures are effectively carried out
• Ensuring external fire systems auditors are invited to audit and make recommendations as per the fire systems in accordance with the safety rules and regulations
• Ensuring that firefighting equipment are in working condition, ready for use during emergency
• Carrying out interviews and investigations of incidents and make reports and recommendations
• Making reports and recommendations to management
• Carrying out security inspection and audit on guards performance
• Attending management briefings and addressing security/safety issues in on site with department heads
• Management and control of Lost and found properties with the Police
• Organize, coordinate and manage security team
• Part of Security budget planning and control and Policy making
• Managing the operation in assigned area as per the satisfaction of client or any other task assigned by the client.
• Capability to resolve client complaints within contractual time frame

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as PSCOD/ Abu Dhabi along with NSI security supervisor certificate
• Must have valid Security Supervisor / Manager License (PSCOD)
• Must have completed Secondary School (Grade 12) or College Graduate (any discipline), preferably with Military or Police background
• Knowledgeable with PSCOD Laws & International standards of Security practices & procedures
• High level of computer literacy particularly in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, effective reporting skill and Outlook.
• Must be presentable, polite & competent in handling people & situations with high-level Security & Safety skills.
• Arabic speaking candidate is preferable
