We are currently recruiting for a Senior Analyst - PMO for our trusted client in the Aviation industry to be based out of their headquarters in Dubai.
Purpose-
The purpose of the role is to promote a standardized Project Management methodology throughout all programmes in alignment and compliance with the Portfolio Governance Manual and Project Management Methodologies implemented.
To act as a focal point for PMO and support across projects, efficiencies across the department, governance, project controls, and better delivery visibility.
Provide quality assessment of the Portfolio and Projects by reviewing project health checks, metrics and assurance across the full portfolio, and review project metrics, and suggest assurance improvements.
To support in development of smartcards and project management processes, and recommend appropriate improvements to governance, standards and delivery and project methodology controls.
Support in presentations, improvements to PMO practices and governance through reviews of all projects, with more control given to critical projects.
Responsibilities-
- Support in building and maintaining a detailed view of the portfolio assurance points across each project. Key metrics need to be reviewed across various data points inclusive of meeting with PMs on a regular basis to discuss, review findings and recommend improvements.
- Support for project and programme planning activities including facilitation and gathering of regular updates to enable an efficient reporting process. Co-ordination of information gathering, production/formatting/quality review of regular and ad-hoc reports.
- Co-develop and support the PMO across governance, project management, process maps, smartcards and other documents to ensure all support documents and reports are kept up to date.
- Support and recommend improvements to Projects through project reviews to improve delivery, and minimize delivery Participate in the improvement of PMO and portfolio management methodologies.
- Support processes and standards documentation activities in a centralized PMO knowledge base.
- Ensure continuous alignment of portfolio management tool to the most recent business processes, related governance framework, and project management methodology.
- Coordinate with all internal parties and external technology partners to ensure any new business requirements are captured and quickly implemented into portfolio management tool (Radar). impacts from risks.
- Provide the Programme team with administrative support and guidance through the portfolio and project processes.
- Document/Deliverables management including maintenance of document libraries.
- General PMO and assurance administration including meeting support, liaison with other departments such as HR and Finance, assisting with communication activities and maintaining qualitative and quantitative health assessments across the Portfolio.
Skills
- Knowledge of portfolio, programme and project management
- Knowledge of key project management areas of scheduling, risks, financial controls, resourcing and stakeholder management
- Extensive experience in the usage of MS Project, MS Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of reporting tools such as Clarity PPM, SharePoint, Tableau, SQL
