Transguard Group is the UAE’s most trusted business support and outsourcing provider and has a large, dynamic, and culturally diverse workforce with 50,000 employees!  We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager – Aviation & Logistics for our Client in the UAE. 

Scope: 

Senior Manager is responsible for leading the account management and operational delivery of solutions in the assigned portfolio of accounts. Actively contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the business, with a focus supporting the leadership to drive team effort aligned to the mission, vision and strategy of the Group.

The role is heavily focused on operational and service excellence delivered through a strategic approach while maintaining commercial balance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the business growth of the account portfolio, new business and organic growth, assuming full commercial responsibility of P&L
  • Implicitly understand the commercial aspects of the contracts and monitor the management of the service to ensure delivery within the boundaries of the contracts, meeting the SLA/KPIs.
  • Prepare reports as and when required with accurate operational data to support the review of the financial performance of the contracts
  • Ensure that monthly billing and invoices are accurately prepared, delivered and paid within DSO targets and vendor SL.
  • Report any variations to the contracts to the BU leadership and ensure that these are reviewed and agreed with the customer and vendor.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous business improvement and deliver initiatives accordingly
  • Monitor the financial performance of the contracts and vendors, ensuring that contracts are being delivered within budget and revenue is maximised
  • Drive performance to ensure that the Annual Goals for the Business Unit are met
  • Manage ongoing innovations for improved productivity
  • Responsible for delivering on the metrics and KPIs in the balanced scorecard
  • Ensure that all client and management reports and presentations are delivered within the deadlines and to the required standards
  • Responsible for the delivery of managed solutions, manpower services and vendor management.
  • Responsible for the development and deployment of the strategy and customer plans relating to safe working environment, health and safety and people.
  • Evaluate proposed and required changes to managed solutions and manpower services identifying financial, personnel and operational performance implications prior to confirmation and implementation of service changes and manage change process as appropriate.
  • Ensure that the operations team successfully completes scheduled activities and provide prompt and robust response to non-planned activities in line with agreed Statement of Work.
  • Ensure all operations following Operations Manual and Standard Operating Processes and Procedures
  • Optimize operation through: CI improvements, planning demand and supply, accuracy of data, a planned operation, business resilience, adhering to governing body regulations.
  • Build & maintain excellent relationships to ensure retention of business, continue to explore business opportunities
  • Maintain the relationship framework to ensure working relationships at all levels of the business are in place and effective
  • Provide resolution to any issues that are escalated, ensure these are logged and closed off, any lessons learnt are communicated.
  • Attend meetings, have good knowledge of site operations, encourage active improvements & provide feedback
  • Lead the Account Management team and develop it as required to ensure the operations run smoothly, within budget and that contribution targets are met
  • Undertake site visits to view staff performance and discuss and resolve any issues raised by the customers regarding the quality of the service
  • Hold team meetings, monthly or as required to ensure communication channels are open within the team
  • Monitor the performance of the team through 1:1s, team meetings, quarterly reviews and reporting methods
  • Ensure all employees understand and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Business Policies
  • Ensure the team are motivated, committed and performing their roles to the best of their ability and contributing to the success of the team. Coach and mentor the team to ensure the delivery of results.
  • Ensure individual and team clarity around roles, responsibilities and deliverables via a strong performance driven and safety culture
  • Develops and maintains a robust a fit for purpose organizational structure within business unit
  • Ensures that the interests and welfare of employees as individuals are preserved and protected always
  • Responsible for recruiting and hiring for open vacancies, ensuring process is followed and hire is fit for purpose
