We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager- Aviation to join our Aviation team in Dubai.

 

Scope: Overall responsibility for the client portfolio for revenue delivery, account management and enhancing and optimizing operational excellence across the assigned customer account portfolio. The individual will be responsible for delivering the targeted revenue and gross contribution, project managing client mobilizations, day-to-day delivery of operations, contribute to the growth of account portfolio and new business tenders as well as manage a team of individuals, responsible to ensure all team members are fully engaged and optimised to TG standards. Actively contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the business, with a focus supporting the BU Head to drive team effort aligned to the mission, vision and strategy of the Group. The role is heavily focused on enhancing operational and service excellence delivered through a digitized and automated approach as well as solutions development of new business opportunities.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Financial

 

  • Develop the business growth of the account portfolio, through new business and organic growth, assuming full commercial responsibility
  • Implicitly understand the commercial aspects of the contracts and monitor the management of the service to ensure delivery within the boundaries of the contracts and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and achieving the operational SLA and commercial KPIs
  • Ensure customer account portfolio are delivering to budgeted targets, revenue and gross contributions, contributing to the department P&L, accurate reporting for forecasting and revenue is maximized
  • Ensure the Account Team understand the commercial agreement and manage the service delivery within the timelines and deliverables of the contract
  • Ensure all contracts are always commercially bound and provide clear direction on contract renewals identifying and securing preferred commercial terms
  • Working closely with the legal and commercial teams be able to provide clear direction on actions throughout the term of contract relating to any breach any actions required to remedy
  • Responsible for management monthly report with operational data to support the review of the financial performance of the contract scorecard
  • Ensure that monthly billing and invoices are prepared, delivered and paid within DSO targets and vendor SL
  • Ensure that all client and management reports and presentations are delivered within the deadlines and to the required standards

Customer

 

  • Proactively manage the relationship with the client in line with the RACI matrix under the guidance of the Account Manager
  • Manage the key contacts and relationship within your account portfolio, ensure the account is full managed and relationships are developed at every level
  • Provide ideas on growth initiatives to maximize the potential opportunities with new clients and contacts
  • Ensure all commercials are within the bounds of the contracts and billing accurately reflects all terms and conditions
  • Effective debtor management across the Account Portfolio ensure risk profiles are fully secured with all clients and decisive actions are taken where necessary to protect the business sample: Respond to queries efficiently within a timely manner

Process

 

  • Analyses trends and metrics to develop and enhance solutions, processes, and programs that address current inefficiencies and creating improved processes
  • Measuring, validating, and testing of the effectiveness of metrics that are applied by the business to assess and drive productivity optimization
  • Developing programs and methods that aid in the achievement of measurable improvements in metric results and which avail actionable people management solutions and strategies
  • Responsible for Management Reporting, the collation of reports for MPR and Control Rooms
  • Operational Excellence: Drive a lean culture within the team, focused on operational excellence and business performance
  • Ensure direct reports are focused on value added activity, working towards achieving the goals on the balanced score cards
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate and develop the team members reporting directly to you and influence the positive behaviour of the wider team
  • Act as a role model to encourage development of high performing individuals and teams; motivating employees to deliver consistently high levels of performance and continuous improvement
  • Establish an environment that strives for continuous improvement by encouraging contributions from employees.
  • Provide constructive ideas for improvements in processes and procedures that would deliver further efficiencies and service enhancement
  • Monitor all processes applied by each team member to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of these teams
  • Drive the department vision and ensuring those values are adopted among all team members, which results in the formation of the HR department working culture
  • Ensure employee potential is maximised by devising training and development strategies; encouraging cross-team activities/participation and a coaching/mentoring approach
  • This is an active role and not simply a point of accountability the individual will be expected to get directly involved
  • Ensure the team is managed in line with all Performance Manager SOPs throughout their employee lifecycle 

Innovation

 

  • Fully understand the bid / quote request documents to become familiar and well versed with the requirements & scope of work. Develop a plan of action around the deadlines to ensure that solutions are completed on time and in line with RFP requirements providing the business maximum chances of winning the project
  • Reviewing the asset list, BOQ; drawings to understand the magnitude of the scope of work along with the scope falling under the specialist service providers.
  • Prepare a complete solution strategy/ process including complete lifecycle starting from receiving tenders to successful closeout
  • Working with key members of the other business units and the client organization to obtain the information required to compile the proposals
  • Leading the solutions team to ensure they gather right information including site visit required to develop a site-specific solution with special attention to technology and providing efficient solution to the client. Generate site visit reports which detail the findings during the visit and enumerate any request for information to be submitted to the client
  • Understanding the competition and the current market conditions. Utilizing market research to compete aggressively without compromising on the quality
  • Float various subcontractor queries to applicable vendors and follow up with procurement to get multiple quotes per service. Adequate information to be provided to vendor / procurement to provide a quote including detailed SOW with KPIs and SLAs. Support procurement in negotiating the rates if found to be not in line with industry standards. Review and verify the quotes received. Create comparisons highlighting the prices of each vendors along with any exclusions etc.
  • Development of robust cost model for tenders and ensuring commercial analysis of tender contracts with presentation of the key risks to the bid review committee. Resource management within Bid team to ensure successful outcomes. To review developed estimates based on actual, market benchmark, historical data, TFM take offs, vendors, subcontract proposals, site conditions, clients expectations and requirements

  • Minimum years of experience required: 5 – 10 Years
  • Minimum educational requirements, include must have certifications (if any): University Degree
  • Technical skill required to perform accountabilities: Financial Background a plus
