Senior Manager-Continuous Improvement

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager-Transformation to join our team at Transguard Group. The candidate is to be based in the UAE.

Scope- 
Senior Manager-Transformation; To lead the successful implementation of process improvement initiatives and projects within the organization. They will partner with internal stakeholders to understand their goals and lead the organization in implementing best practices grounded in excellent project management and Lean principles and theories. The Senior Manager must be an independent and experienced leader, adept at kaizen, 8D and/or PDCA methodology, as well as outstanding project, people and stakeholder management.

The Senior Manager – Transformation; position focuses on understanding and improving existing processes to maximize efficiencies and drive the organization towards a collaborative, organized and Lean culture. They will be diligent in coaching and implementing process improvements that are focused on eliminating waste, reducing costs and improving quality, customer and user experience.

Job Responsibilities-

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets as required.
• Educate and train internal stakeholders on Lean concepts and best practices.
• Implement process improvements through Kaizen, 8D and PDCA practices.
• Monitor and assess process performance post implementation.
• Support and implement robust control mechanisms focusing on error proofing, standardization across the group and exceptional data quality.
• Actively encourage and manage (where appropriate) the delivery of a large volume of group wide improvement projects.
• Deliver strategy sessions with business units focused on understanding and creating short, medium, and long-term objectives.
• Work with stakeholders and project teams to address opportunities and risks associated with projects.
• Engage effectively with stakeholders to ensure their expectations are managed, met and projects are delivered on time.
• Work collaboratively with SME’s, Managers, and the leadership team to solve problems and develop robust solutions.

Technical

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in process improvement, Lean, Kaizen, 8D, PDCA methodology
• Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and solve complex problems
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Lean certification and prior experience in a Lean transformation is preferred
• Lean/Six Sigma Problem Solving/ Analytical Thinking
• Project Management certification (advantageous)
• Internal Audit and Compliance (advantageous)
