Senior Manager - Investment Planning

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager - Investment Planning for our trusted client in the Aviation industry to be based out of their headquarters in Dubai.

Purpose

The purpose of the role is to guide business units through the Corporate Investment process by developing Briefs, Business Cases, Change Requests and Benefit Reviews for all Investments that are part of the Portfolio.

The Investment Planning Senior Manager will guide SMEs and Project Sponsors through the development process and lead the production the required governance documentation to allow the Investment Committee to make targeted and well-informed investment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Agree Project Scope and Requirements with Core Stakeholders.
• Lead the development of Business Case Options for comparative assessment.
• Use financial modelling to develop long term cost-benefit analysis and profitability of project options.
• Lead the development of detailed project benefit maps with clear benefit statements, metrics and targets.
• Ensure accurate project costing through SM or costing team based on RoM cost developed on the back of option SoWs.
• Coordinate overall Business Case production and ensure Sponsor is briefed for Investment Committee.
• Develop and Agree Change Items with Project Stakeholders.
  Update Business Case elements like Cost Benefit Analysis, Benefits, etc through a Change Request.
• Ensure Sponsor is briefed for Investment Committee.
• Lead workshops with Business Owners and Unit SMEs to identify issues and opportunities for resolution.
• Classify the urgency of solving these in context of competing priorities and scarce resources (Brief Development).
• Ensure all Investment Committee decisions are accurately reflected in portfolio management system.
• Ensure the content of business cases is accurately reflected in Radar.
• Continuous development of IP templates.
• Continuous review and improvement of Investment Planning Processes.

• Master’s Degree- Finance, Business Administration, Economics
• Experience in Business Case Writing, Cost Benefit Analysis, Benefit Definition and Management, Project Management
• Well versed with MS excel, MS PPT
