Senior Specialist - Category Management

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Specialist - Category Management for our trusted client in the Aviation industry to be based out of their headquarters in Dubai.

Purpose-

Execute strategic and operational sourcing; optimizes cost-effectiveness, fulfilling complex projects on time and under budget.

Responsibilities-

• Manage, guide and monitor the execution of strategic and operational sourcing processes.
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
• Accurately, maintaining, processing updating all projects related documents and records.
• Coordinate with the Fitout project team to provide input into tender documentation, specifically pricing schedules.
• Preparing reports, analyses, presentations, contracts, and other documents.
• Tender Commercial Analysis – lead and complete the tender commercial evaluation and analysis of tender returns.
• Managing tenders and all related activities and documentation, collate and disseminate tender queries and responses to relevant parties in a timely manner.
• Post Contract Administration – coordinate with Fitout project team members to provide input in the post tender administration of projects during execution and final close out, specifically reviewing the cost impact of change requests, interim payments, contingency drawdown and final accounting.
• Managing and assessing variations and provide accurate costing analysis on additional work.

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, finance, business or in a related field
• Professional Procurement qualification (eg. CIPS)
