Job Description

Transguard Group is the UAE’s most trusted business support and outsourcing provider and has a large, dynamic, and culturally diverse workforce with 50,000 employees! We are currently recruiting for Solution Manager for our facilities team to be based out of UAE.

Job Purpose-

Devising a successful strategy for winning projects including identification of the unique selling points & key differentiators along with understanding the client’s specific requirements. The role will lead the solutions team wherein each aspect of the developing a winning bid including but not limited to site visit, technical write-up, pricing, presentations etc. are efficiently and effectively managed and overseen. The roles call for in depth knowledge of both hard and soft services along with relevant specialist services providers and their rates.

Job Responsibility-

  • Fully understand the bid / quote request documents to become familiar and well versed with the requirements & scope of work. Develop a plan of action around the deadlines to ensure that solutions are completed on time and in line with RFP requirements providing the business maximum chances of winning the project. Reviewing the asset list, BOQ, & drawings to understand the magnitude of the scope of work along with the scope falling under the specialist service providers.
  • Prepare a complete solution strategy/ process including complete lifecycle starting from receiving tenders to successful closeout.
  • Working with key members of the other business units and the client organization to obtain the information required to compile the proposals.
  • Leading the solutions team to ensure they gather right information including site visit required to develop a site-specific solution with special attention to technology and providing efficient solution to the client. Generate site visit reports which detail the findings during the visit and enumerate any request for information to be submitted to the client.
  • Understanding the competition and the current market conditions. Utilizing market research to compete aggressively without compromising on the quality.
  • Float various subcontractor queries to applicable vendors and follow up with procurement to get multiple quotes per service. Adequate information to be provided to vendor / procurement to provide a quote including detailed SOW with KPIs and SLAs. Support procurement in negotiating the rates if found to be not in line with industry standards. Review and verify the quotes received. Create comparisons highlighting the prices of each vendors along with any exclusions etc.
  • Development of robust cost model for tenders and ensuring commercial analysis of tender contracts with presentation of the key risks to the bid review committee. Resource management within Bid team to ensure successful outcomes. To review developed estimates based on actual, market benchmark, historical data, TFM take offs, vendors, subcontract proposals, site conditions, clients expectations and requirements.
  • Provide a detail technical write up for each individual bid detailing the strategy for the deliverance of the service and optimization of resource. Reviewing the end proposal before submission to the client. Coordinate and review / edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from marketing, bids and operations team. To review Commercial & Technical Proposal and lead the presentation of the Proposal to senior management for their review and approval.
  • Delivering presentations to the client and ensuring all their queries, question, etc. are clarified. Collecting feedback from the client to make sure any gaps are filled.
  • Negotiating the contract terms and conditions and finalizing the financials of the project.
  • To initiate and direct the planning and development of the Preliminary Project Execution Plan (PPEP), scope definition, project procedures, budgets, and project schedules.
