Specialist - Enterprise Resource Planning

We are currently recruiting Specialist - Enterprise Resource Planning (Microsoft Dynamics) 1 year contract for our client based in Dubai.

Purpose-
Responsible for managing all activities of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation, administration, and customization in collaboration with vendors to meet the needs of internal customers.

Responsibility-

• Support and manage the development of ERP with standards, tools, technologies, architecture, and data to ensure alignment of the same with the overall IT strategy.
• Involve in the process of developing and design ERP system standards covering all application tools and technologies, set the basis for implementation and monitor compliance throughout the organisation.
• Manage and develop multiple internal ERP-related projects by ensuring proper ownership of scheduling, issues, cost, risks, decisions, communication, and internal processes.
  User requirement gathering and Business Solution Mapping co-ordination.
• Involve in designing efficient and proper ERP structure and design for the ERP system to be in alignment with internal business processes.
• Manage the development / customisation of Microsoft Dynamics GP. Implementation/post implementation technical and functional support for Microsoft Dynamics GP.
• Create databases, tables, maintenance scripts, procedures using SQL.
• Creating users, user-groups, assigning permissions, performing back-up of all sites.
• Use tools such as Dexterity and ASP .Net Development for developing modules that are integrated with ERP system.
• Ensure development of ERP-related modules have the ability to integrate and synchronise with other business application within company.
• Ensure accurate and timely data migration during new and existing systems.
• Conduct initial testing of ERP systems and enhancements through parallel runs and test instances prior to sending it for Quality Assurance to ensure that the processes captured are in line with user requirements.
• Ensure that all issues reported by IT QA team are fixed in the testing phase of ERP systems.
• Provide application support for all Departments to ensure their business processes are running smoothly by providing timely problem resolution.
• Prepare user manuals to ensure that all the required information is captured for internal users.
• Populate IT library with source codes, developmental documentation, flow charts, approvals, prototypes, new releases etc.
• Carry out development of assigned changes, upgrades, or enhancements onto existing ERP systems in due consultation with different stakeholders to ensure ERP system is current and user friendly.
• Participate in system upgrades and acceptance testing of new product / version releases.
• Interface with vendors, internal audit, IT Infrastructure and business users for problem resolution and system enhancements. Integrate with other systems of the Authority
• Implementation/post implementation technical and functional support for Microsoft Dynamics GP taking approvals from IT Director.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Dynamics GP escalated problems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field with 5 years’ experience in similar role.
• Extensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics.
