Job Description
Manage the site based operational team responsible for delivering the operational components of client contract; this includes but it not limited to mobilisation, demobilsation, rostering changes, shift deployments, staff uniforms, employee documentation, staff training, staff welfare, absenteeism and attrition, staff briefings/Induction/Tool Box Talks/Safety;
Support the service delivery in line with the client (SLA) service level agreement/contact key performance indicators
Support daily operations ensuring drivers daily schedules are planned and optimized for efficiencies
Support the reports in the scope of contract ensuring correct details are provided to the client
Liaise with procurement team to ensure all the required stock is available monthly
Maintain a consistent and strong relationship with client in line with the RACI matrix under the guidance of the Operations Coordinator
Ensure all site employees have all mandatory employment documentation and training specific to their role, that it is recorded on their files and compliant with the scope of the contract. Documentation includes Driving license, RTA training card (EID) Emirates ID, Visa, Medical Card, Health Card, Card, Training License etc.
Ensure operational compliance to all SOP, CSOPs and Operating Manual including documentation management
Manage all employee welfare and relations issues, from identification to close, working with the Employee Welfare and Relations Team
Manage unauthorised absences, ensure this follows the UA SOP, that it is appropriately flagged and managed to conclusion
Manage the delivery of staff briefings/Induction/Tool Box Talks/Safety briefings from communications message to recording attendance
Ensure that incidents are resolved and reported to the Operations Manager on a daily basis;
Complete all daily reports for TG and client as requested;
Ensure all staff are trained appropriately
Monitor transport requirements between Accommodation and site. Any issues or conflicts should be reported to the Operations Manager as soon as possible;
Ensure that the highest standards are achieved and maintained at all times and all contract 'works' are maintained at the highest levels at all times;
React positively to all client and customer feedback always dealing with the any issues in an effective and efficient manner and also to encourage the same in line with Company procedures
Develop proactive and productive relationship with all team member, developing strong and collaborative relationships
Be able to lead in meetings with the various business departments, building a reputation of trust
Contributes to BU department meetings and contributes to the formulation of solutions
Responsible to report any site incident and accident to line manager and follow up on actions required
Drive a lean culture within the team, focused on operational excellence and business performance
Ensure direct reports are focused on value added activity, working towards achieving the goals on the balanced score cards
Adhere to TG operating policies for activity, ensure responsibilities, deliverables and activities are operating in compliance with all standard operating procedures
Operational excellence on all activities to be achieved by strictly adhering to and surpassing agreed KPI’s
Responsible to ensure all records and activities are recorded in Oracle and ICT systems in accordance with SOPs
Establish an environment that strives for continuous improvement by encouraging contributions from employees.
Provide constructive ideas for improvements in processes and procedures that would deliver further efficiencies and service enhancement
Monitor all strategies applied by each team member to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of these teams.
