TEAM MEMBER

Transguard Group is currently recruiting for customer service focused individuals to join as TEAM MEMBER for it's Hospitality division. The successful candidate will be part of an exciting team, responsible for carrying out duties as outlined.

Purpose:

Support the Assistant Food & Beverages Supervisor in maintaining a smooth operation of services in the outlets, area or functions where assigned, ensuring that they are served customers in a professional, courteous and efficient manner

Job Description

• Collects food supplies, prepares all the basic items.
• Check the weight and quantity of the food items and vegetables received from vegetable section and main stores.
• Receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in cupboards, refrigerators and other storage areas.
• Carry food supplies, equipment, and utensils to and from storage and work areas.
• Ensure that when withdrawing food items from the stores for preparation purpose FIFO method is applied.
• Ensures that the work area is in a neat, tidy and clean condition.
• Assists in ensuring that only sanitized equipment are used.
• Assists in ensuring that food items are stored in their proper and designated areas according to the company’s established Hygiene requirements, and that any required exposure of these items to unacceptable temperature and humidity levels is minimized.
• Comply with and practice the company’s established Hygiene Policy and Procedures.
• Apply the QHSE policy / system established in accordance with international standards and execute all responsibilities according to the department work procedures while reflecting policy.
