Technical Surveyor - Motor Claims (Fleet & Agency)

Transguard is currently recruiting for a Technical Surveyor - Motor Claims to join their Client's team, based out of their company Headquarters in Abu Dhabi. 

The job holder is responsible to receive motor claims and perform functions as delegated by Supervisor and/or Assistant Manager; review, validate claims, and ensure prompt action in compliance with insurance policies, set company standards, procedures, and guidelines.

OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Policies, Processes and procedures:

• Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Claims Activities:

• Inspects insured clients damaged vehicle, and, where appropriate, damage to third party vehicles and property
• Arranges for repair estimates and assesses the loss, negotiates with garages and arrives at the Loss repairable or replaceable
• Prepares Survey Reports in sufficient details as per ADNIC’s procedures
• Ensures that the policy terms and conditions with regard to policy deductible and depreciation are applied in motor claims applicable
• Negotiates skilfully with all Agencies to reduce the cost of repair
• Maintains contact with appointed vehicle repair garages
• Follows the cars logistics workshop & agencies
• Negotiates and approves repairs for allotted Fleet Policies
• Recommends to Claims Manager in issuance of repair orders to garages or agencies
• Updates himself about the technical details of new vehicles in the market & technology to repair such vehicles and about the capabilities of garage agency
• Liaisons with garage, agency & customers and maintain good & fair relationship authorities delegated
• Ensures no delays are faced by customers and that estimates are approved without delays
• Follows up and performs any other job-related instructions/ duties requested by their Management.

Reports:

• Provides Management with appropriate reports regarding the unit and compliance with operational policy and procedures.
• Prepares monthly report of motor claim survey done

Preferred Professional certifications:

Certificate in Insurance (CII), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Associate or Diploma in Charted Insurance Institute (Dip CII or ACII), Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), Fellow Insurance Institute of India (FIII)
