Job Description
As a Tile Mason, your role will be responsible for installing tiles and perform duties as assigned.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following;
• Preparing surfaces prior to beginning work
• Fabricating, altering, repairing, and maintaining walls, sidewalks, street curbs, floors, bathroom showers, sink counters, partitions, manholes, and other related structures or surfaces
• Determines work requirements and sequence of masonry/tile assignments through reviewing of work orders, plans, or drawings
• Laying out work using chalk lines, plumb bobs, tapes, squares, and levels
• Mixing cement using hoes, cement-mixing equipment, and/or hand tools
• Cutting or breaking bricks and concrete using hammers, powered abrasive saws, paving breakers, drills, and/or hand tools
• Molding expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers, and straight edge
Skills
The ideal candidate must have minimum 2 years Masonry experience and excellent physical dexterity attribute.
