Trainer- Expo Pavilion (4 months Contract)

Transguard is now recruiting a Trainer for a prominent pavilion in Expo 2020. The role is primarily responsible for communicating with managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals. The role is also responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating and conducting all appropriate training programmes for the Pavilion including but not limited to, Expo training, on the job training, customer service, guest experience and delivering training within facilities services and security.

This will be a fixed term contract for a period of 4 months.

In this role your responsibilities include the following:

• Conducting training programmes for administration, middle management, and front-line employees.
• Working with the management to schedule training programmes for all staff.
• Integrating latest teaching techniques to a corporate training environment
• Working to keep training programmes vibrant and entertaining in order to engage employees and trainees.
• Ensuring that all training materials and programmes are compliant with laws and regulations governing Expo and the Pavilion
• Recommending to the administration management strategies that are targeted for specific departments with the goal of increasing efficiency and effectiveness and generating increased revenues.
• Interacting with senior management and key stakeholders to determine the specific requirements in each job description
• With approval from management, preparing hard copy training materials and presentations for employees
• Creating monitoring strategies to ensure that employees are performing job duties according to the training provided.
• Evaluating job performance of members of the management team
• Developing reports that document job performances of all personnel

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Management, Public Relations, or a related field. Professional Training Certification /CIPD
• Knowledge of training terminology specific to pavilions
• Experience in delivering training to large groups
