Job Description
As a Waiter, your role will be responsible in attending to guest’s requirements by taking food and beverage orders, delivering food and beverages whilst anticipating the needs of the customer and supporting the F&B team ensuring that the guest experience is of the highest standard.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following;
• Maintaining full knowledge of the menu
• Ensuring food orders are correctly taken from guests and all orders are entered accurately into the Point of Sales System
• Maintaining the mis-en-place station
• Maximizing sales opportunities throughout the restaurant by suggestive and upselling to guests where appropriate
• Providing friendly, excellent customer and food and beverage service to all guests
• Delivering food and beverage items to customers
• Managing customer complaints and suggestions and escalate any issues to the Restaurant Manager if required
• Communicating clearly, professionally and concisely to both customers and the team
Skills
The ideal candidate must have minimum 1 year relevant F&B experience with solid knowledge in Hospitality Industry and strong communication skills.
