Waitress/Cashier (with knowledge of POS)

A French Cuisine restaurant concept located in Downtown Dubai / Dubai Hills is looking for Waitress/Cashier (with knowledge of POS) for their outlet. Only UAE based candidates available immediately on visit visa or cancelled work visa will be considered. 6 days working and one day off in the week.

The role of the Waitress will be to serve guests with food and beverages, cleaning the guest tables and also the F&B areas whilst ensuing the quality of food and beverages delivered are of the highest standards.

• Assists the kitchen and service staff as needed to maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing to optimize guests dining experience.
• Taking and maintaining customer orders in a timely manner.
• Ensures that silver and crockery stock control is properly stocked and inspected prior to service
• Ensures that table presentation is correctly maintained according to restaurant specific standards.
• Assists the other Waitresses as needed before and during service whilst performing closing duties as required.
• Maintain the mis-en-place station ensuring it is correctly set up and clean at all times.
• Provide friendly, excellent customer and food and beverage service to guests at all times.
• Provide as a strong link between kitchen and service areas
• Communicate clearly, professionally and concisely to customers 
• Responds to customers’ requests promptly and manages their expectations accordingly
• Carry our any other duties as instructed by the shift Supervisor/senior

• Must have basic computer skills
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (UAE accreditation)
• Basic Health & Safety Awareness
• Safe manual handling techniques
• Solid Understanding of both the company/client policies and procedures
• Occupational Health Card (UAE accreditation)
• Must have a strong comprehension of English
