Web Application Developer- Transformation

Transguard is now looking to recruit a Web Application Developer for our Transformation division. The Web Application Developer will design, develop, and support organisation websites, portals and some custom applications with defined processes and SDLC.

In this role your responsibilities include the following:

• Defining site objectives by analysing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality
• Designing and developing user interfaces to internet/intranet applications as per SDLC
• Integrating applications by designing database architecture and server scripting, studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers
• Completing applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities
• Troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms
• Supporting users by developing documentation and assistance tools Following development best practices such as: source code control, versioning and version control, software packaging and software release management
• Developing and maintaining technical, UAT and user-guide documentation
• Managing stakeholders across the business when implementing change

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Fluent with wire framing tools for concept design
• Experience in running ‘fact finding’ sessions with stakeholders to define potential automation solutions
• Corporate web portal, smart dashboard & API development integrated with other systems using MS .net technologies
• Experience in troubleshooting, problem solving and root cause analysis
• Expert in vulnerability fixing, support and maintenance, technical documentation and drawings
• Best practice IT and/or software development frameworks
• Proficiency in JavaScript, JQuery, Angular, Type Script, ES6, Node.js, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web APIs, C#, MS SQL, Workflow, Fusion Charts and MS Power BI
